Wolverine Ski Club
The club is devoted to promoting cross-country skiing. Dedicated volunteers maintain and groom the trails, which are open to the public everyday during the winter months.

The YooperBeiner Trails
At the right is a small map of the trail system.
The 26k race makes two loops around the outside, starting at the chalet. The 2.2k and 6.6k take advantage of the novice loop which has gentle terrain through the forest.

The Scenery
The entire trail system is located in the western Upper Michigan Highlands. The region is characterized by high, steep hills, bedrock cliffs, river gorges, waterfalls, mature hemlock forests, and memorable views of Lake Superior.
